Moto Z3 Play might not have headphone jack, home button
Renowned smartphone leaker Evan Blass has shared an image of the yet-to-be-launched Moto Z3 Play smartphone on Twitter that provides users with quite a clear look at the device. So far, the major aspects of the phone seem to be thinner bezels, no headphone jack, no home button, and a dual rear camera setup. Here is more.
The color of the render is deep indigo
The screen finally gets a longer 18:9 aspect ratio
The smartphone looks modular in design with a glossy back, which was also spotted in the recently launched Moto G6. With thinner bezels, the screen finally gets more real estate and comes with a longer aspect ratio of 18:9. Further, with no physical home button, Moto Z3 Play gets a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. In such cases, usually, phones go for a rear fingerprint scanner.
Motorola's Z Play series tend to fall above mid-range category
No specs of the phone are available yet, but it is expected to be a solid performer just like its predecessor, the Z2 Play. The only problem with the Z2 Play was its small battery which might get fixed in the Z3 play. Notably, Motorola's Z Play series often tend to fall above the mid-range category.
Moto Mods to the rescue
Both the updates of dual rear cameras and no headphone jack were previously available on the high-end Moto Z2 Force. Users have Moto Mods as an alternative, which can transform the smartphone into different devices like a super-zoom camera, a boombox, and a projector.
