    What's the story

Months after launching the Elite i20 facelift in India, Hyundai has now introduced its automatic counterpart in the country.

The Elite i20 CVT is offered in two variants - Magna Executive and the Asta, priced at Rs. 7.05 lakh and Rs. 8.16 (ex-showroom Delhi), respectively

Notably, the automatic variant of Elite i20 is available only with the petrol engine.

    Here's more.

    Features

Elite i20 CVT variants similarly equipped as their manual counterparts

The Magna Executive CVT offers dual front airbags, 2-DIN music system, power windows, manual AC with rear vents, electrically adjustable door mirrors and ABS with EBD.

As additional features, the Asta trim offers a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, tilt-telescopic steering, height-adjustable driver's seat, and reverse parking camera with sensors and dynamic guidelines.

    Revving up

Hyundai takes on competition with its Elite i20 CVT variants

The Elite i20 CVT is offered in a 1.2-liter motor that generates 83PS of peak power and 114Nm of peak torque.

Reportedly, the Elite i20 CVT is available on order only. Hence, customers may have to wait longer for their car's delivery.

Moreover, with the introduction of Elite i20 CVT variants, Hyundai can take on the automatic trims of Maruti-Suzuki Baleno and Honda Jazz.
