Huawei Watch Fit 3 looks strikingly similar to Apple Watch
Huawei recently unveiled its new smartphones under the Pura branding. Now, the company is gearing up for the launch of its forthcoming smartwatch, the "Watch Fit 3." Ahead of its official debut, WinFuture's Roland Quandt has shared images of the watch, revealing a design akin to the Apple Watch. Smartwatch designs differ significantly across manufacturers, yet Huawei's upcoming smartwatch evidently draws inspiration from Apple.
How it mirrors Apple Watch's design
The Huawei Watch Fit 3 features a square-like shape with slim bezels and rounded corners. While the metal frames and screen bezels differ slightly, the overall construction is nearly identical. This includes a rotating crown and a physical button, positioned in the same spot as on an Apple Watch. The similarity extends to a band that connects sans traditional lugs, another feature common with the Apple Watch.
Watch Fit 3 may prioritize fitness tracking
Despite its aesthetic similarities to the Apple Watch, Huawei's "Watch Fit 3" is expected to offer different software capabilities. The device may prioritize fitness tracking over typical smartwatch functions. It might operate on a streamlined version of HarmonyOS with support for select apps, sleep and fitness tracking, as well as receiving notifications and calls. The predecessor in the series, the Watch Fit 2, was known for its impressive battery life of up to 10 days on a single charge.
