Huawei P30 launched with flagship interiors, triple rear camera setup
As the successor to last year's P20, Huawei has launched its camera-centric P30 smartphone in Paris. The key highlights of the handset are its full-HD+ display, a 40MP triple rear camera, a 32MP selfie snapper, and top-end internals including a flagship Kirin 980 chipset. Up front, the Huawei P30 offers an edge-to-edge touchscreen display with a waterdrop notch, prominent bottom chin, and in-screen fingerprint sensor. On the back, it features a triple camera setup and a gradient design. Furthermore, it offers a 6.1-inch full-HD+(1080x2340 pixels) OLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio.

In the camera department, the Huawei P30 houses a triple rear camera setup comprising a 40MP (f/1.8) ultra-wide angle sensor, paired with a 16MP (f/2.2) sensor and an 8MP (f/2.4) telephoto sensor. Up front, it offers a 32MP (f/2.0) selfie camera. Moreover, the main camera enables 2160p video recording at 30fps while the selfie camera provides 1080p video recording at 30fps.
Huawei P30 is powered by the Kirin 980 chipset
The Huawei P30 has an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 980 processor, coupled with an 8GB RAM, 64GB/128GB/256GB of internal storage and a dedicated memory card slot. It packs a 3,650mAh battery which supports 40W fast battery charging and runs Android Pie-based EMUI 9.1. Further, the phone offers a graphene film cooling system which will keep the device cool even under heavy loads.
Connectivity options and sensor details
The P30 offers connectivity options such as 4G dual-SIMs (hybrid-slot), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0 , GPS/A-GPS, aptX HD and USB Type-C 3.1 reversible connector. In terms of sensors, the phone is equipped with accelerometer, proximity and compass sensors.
Huawei P30 starts at around Rs. 62,200
Huawei has launched P30 in Paris at a starting price of EUR 799 which is around Rs. 62,200 in India. The phone will be offered in four new gradient finishes - Amber Sunrise, Aurora, Breathing Crystal, and Pearl White. However, there is no word about its India availability. It is listed as 'Coming Soon' on Amazon India.
