Huawei P30 renders reveal new design; key specifications leaked
As the successor to its P20-series of smartphones, Huawei is expected to launch P30 Pro and P30 as early as February end. Recently, the P30 Pro was tipped to sport a waterdrop notched display and a four-camera setup on the back. And now, tipster OnLeaks and 91Mobiles have collaborated to reveal the design and specs of Huawei P30. Here's our roundup.
Huawei P30 to sport waterdrop notched display
According to the renders, the P30 will feature an edge-to-edge display with a waterdrop notch, prominent bottom chin, triple rear camera setup, and a gradient design on the rear panel. The phone may come with an in-display fingerprint scanner, given renders do not show a physical scanner. Moreover, renders show the presence of a USB Type-C port, a headphone jack, and colored power button.
Honor P30 tipped to come with a triple rear-camera setup
While P30 Pro is expected to sport a quad-camera setup, the P30 is said to house a vertically stacked triple lens array with an LED flash and dual microphones placed below it. Further, the rear camera is said to feature a 38MP Sony sensor that can offer 5X optical zoom. Up front, the Huawei P30 will have a 24MP selfie camera.
Everything else we know about the Huawei P30
According to 91Mobiles, Huawei P30 is likely to be powered by the latest 7nm HiSilicon Kirin 980 processor that we saw on the Huawei Mate 20-series. The chipset is expected to be paired with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage. Lastly, the phone is expected to run Android Pie-based EMUI 9 out of the box.

According to reports, Huawei could launch the P30-series of smartphones as early as February end. The tech giant is expected to unveil the P30 Pro and P30 smartphones at the Mobile World Congress 2019, which is scheduled to be hosted in Barcelona from February 25-28.
