Huawei P30 Pro's specifications and price leaked in Amazon listing
Huawei is working to launch its P30 series of smartphones on March 26 at an event in Paris. And just days ahead of the unveiling, the Huawei P30 Pro has been leaked in full glory after an Amazon Italy listing went up prematurely. The listing has given away key specifications of the upcoming flagship while also revealing its price. Here's everything to know.
Huawei P30 Pro: At a glance
As per previous renders and images spotted in the Amazon listing, the Huawei P30 Pro will feature a waterdrop notched display with a slim bottom bezel. On the back, it will have a vertically-stacked quad camera setup, housed in a curved glass body. Further, the phone is tipped to come with a 6.5-inch full-HD+ OLED screen and also pack an in-screen fingerprint sensor.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
Huawei P30 Pro's multi-camera array will comprise a 40MP main sensor, a 20MP sensor, and another 8MP sensor. One of these sensors will be a telephoto sensor that will pair with the main sensor to offer 10x hybrid zoom. This camera setup will be supported by a 3D time-of-flight camera for capturing depth information. Up front, the phone will offer a 32MP selfie camera.
Under the hood
The Huawei P30 Pro will be powered by a Kirin 980 chipset, paired with at least 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, according to the leaked product page. Under the hood, the phone will pack a 4,200mAh battery, run Android Pie-based EMUI 9.1, and support dual-SIMs. Moreover, we expect it to offer fast charging as well as two-way wireless charging.
Pricing and availability
The Amazon listing shows a price tag of 1,024 euros (approx. Rs. 80,000) for a Huawei P30 Pro model with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. We also expect to see other variants with high RAM and storage capabilities. As for availability, the company will make a formal announcement on March 26 when it would launch the P30 series in Paris.
