Huawei P30 Pro, which was recently unveiled in Paris, has been launched in India at Rs. 71,990. Touted as a DSLR-killer, the flagship smartphone offers a novel quad camera setup with up to 50x zoom and top-of-the-line specifications and features. Firstly, let's take a look at P30 Pro's camera specifications
The quad camera setup on the P30 Pro comprises a 40MP (f/1.6) primary SuperSpectrum Sensor, a 20MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle secondary sensor, an 8MP (f/3.4) telephoto sensor, and a Time-of-Flight (TOF) camera. The main camera array also has a color temperature sensor, flicker sensor and offers 5x optical along with 50x digital zoom. Up front, the phone has a 32MP (f/2.0) selfie snapper.
Huawei P30 Pro offers DSLR-level photography features
The 40MP SuperSpectrum sensor uses 4-in-1 pixel binning tech to offer highly detailed 10MP images. This sensor also enables a maximum ISO of 409,600 for low-light photography. The 20MP wide-angle sensor also allows for good macro or wide shots. Lastly, the OIS-enabled 8MP telephoto sensor is the key feature. It uses a periscope setup to offer stunning optical and digital zoom capabilities.

Lastly, the phone is powered by a Kirin 980 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, and 4,200mAh battery.

Huawei P30 Lite sports a 6.15-inch full-HD+(1080x2312 pixels) waterdrop notched display with a sizeable bottom chin. It offers a 24MP+8MP+2MP triple rear-camera setup and an impressive 32MP selfie snapper. Under the hood, the phone comes with a Kirin 710 processor, coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM, and 128GB of storage (expandable upto 512GB). Lastly, it packs a 3,340mAh battery and runs Android Pie-based EMUI 9.0 out-of-the-box.
Pricing and availability
Huawei P30 Pro is priced at Rs. 71,990 for the solo 8GB/256GB variant and will go on sale starting April 15 via Amazon. Further, the Huawei P30 Lite is priced at Rs. 19,990 for the 4GB/128GB variant and Rs. 22,990 for the 6GB/128GB model. It will go on sale starting April 25 via Amazon. Both the models will also be sold via Croma stores.
