Huawei launches affordable P30 Lite with triple rear cameras
Days after unveiling its P30 and P30 Pro models in Paris, Huawei has silently introduced the P30 Lite in select markets. The tech giant has listed the affordable smartphone for pre-orders on its Canadian website while Philippine e-retailers are also accepting bookings for it. The phone features a full-HD+ display, a 32MP selfie snapper, and mid-end internals including a Kirin 710 chipset. Here's more.

In terms of design and display, the Huawei P30 Lite resembles its predecessor, P30 and P30 Pro. Up front, it offers an edge-to-edge touchscreen display with a waterdrop notch and a prominent bottom chin. On the back, it features a triple camera setup along with a fingerprint sensor. Furthermore, in terms of display, the phone sports a 6.15-inch full-HD+(1080x2312 pixels) IPS display.

In terms of optics, the Huawei P30 Lite houses a triple rear camera setup comprising a 24MP (f/1.8) main sensor, paired with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. Up front, it offers a 32MP (f/2.0) selfie camera. Moreover, the front and rear cameras support HRD as well as 1080p video recording at 30fps

The Huawei P30 Lite has an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 710 processor, coupled with 4/6GB RAM and 128GB of external storage which is expandable up to 512GB via a micro-SD card. Further, it packs a 3,340mAh battery which supports 18W fast charging and runs Android Pie-based EMUI 9.0.
Connectivity options and sensor details
In the connectivity department, the P30 Lite supports 4G dual-SIMs (hybrid-slot), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, WiFi Direct, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/A-GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C 1.0 reversible connector. In terms of sensors, the phone is equipped with accelerometer, proximity, compass, and rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Huawei P30 Lite: Pricing and availability
Huawei has introduced P30 Lite in the Philippines at a price tag of PHP 16,990 which is around Rs. 22,200 in India. It'll be offered in three color options - Midnight Black, Peacock Blue, and Pearl White. The phone is available for pre-orders via online stores such as Abenson in the Philippines while its shipping is slated to start from April 4.
