Huawei's OLED TV to feature 65-inch screen, 24MP pop-up camera
Huawei is gearing up to launch its maiden OLED TV in China as it aims to take on LG and Sony in this premium product category. Over the past few days, many leaks and teasers have come our way, revealing some of the key features of the television such as 4K screen resolution, 14 under-display speakers, and a pop-up camera for video calling.
Huawei's upcoming TV will sport a 65-inch 4K OLED panel
Huawei's upcoming TV, likely to be called Vision Smart TV X65, will be a flagship offering. According to teaser images, it will feature a 65-inch OLED screen with a 4K resolution. The company will also put an ambient sensor to adjust the screen brightness and color for more natural picture quality. Additionally, the TV will house a 24MP pop-up camera for full-screen video calling.
It will also pack an impressive 14 speaker system
The upcoming Huawei TV will pack as many as 14 speakers behind the screen. The audio system, expected to include a set of dedicated tweeters and woofers, should also support sound-enhancing Dolby Atmos and Dolby DTS technologies.
It will run on Hongmeng OS
Under the hood, the upcoming TV will pack top-tier internals and support all the latest connectivity options. It will run on the company's own Hongmeng OS, which is touted to offer multi-device distributed collaboration, low latency, and a "magazine-style" UI - tailored for the large-screen format. The television will support some sort of air gesture control, as well as eye and pose tracking.

Huawei will launch its Smart TV X65 today i.e Wednesday, April 8. Details about the pricing and availability will be known then. That said, looking at the specifications and features, it should easily cost upwards of 5,000 yuan (approximately Rs. 54,000).
