Huawei Nova 5 Pro spotted on AnTuTu, key specifications revealed
Chinese tech giant Huawei is all set to launch Nova 5 series of smartphones on June 21 in its home country. The line-up comprises Nova 5 Pro, Nova 5, and Nova 5i. And now, one of them, the top-end Nova 5 Pro has been spotted on AnTuTu benchmarking site. The listing reveals key specifications of the phone ahead of its launch. Take a look.
Huawei Nova 5 Pro: At a glance
Huawei Nova 5 Pro is likely to sport a waterdrop notch display on the front, while the back is expected to house a vertically stacked quad camera setup along with an LED flash. The phone is expected to feature a 6.39-inch AMOLED display and an on-screen fingerprint sensor. Further, according to the AnTuTu listing, it will have a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels.
Huawei Nova 5 Pro offers quad rear camera setup
Huawei has confirmed that the Nova 5 Pro will house a quad rear camera setup comprising a 48MP primary camera, a 16MP superwide sensor, 2MP Time-of-Flight sensor, and another 2MP lens to capture depth details. Up front, the phone will feature a 32MP selfie shooter packed in the waterdrop notch.
Under the hood
Further, the AnTuTu listing reveals that Huawei Nova 5 Pro will run Android 9 Pie and will be powered by a Kirin 980 chipset, paired with a Mali G76 GPU, 8GB RAM, and 256GB of storage. Under the hood, it is expected to pack a 3,500mAh battery. Meanwhile, the company has confirmed that the phone will come with Huawei SuperCharge (40W) fast charging support.
And, what about pricing?
As for the pocket pinch, the phone is expected to be priced at around CNY 3,470 (approximately Rs. 35,000) in China. However, the official details about its pricing and availability will be revealed by the company during the event, which is scheduled for June 21.
