Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite launched in India at Rs. 23,000
As an addition to its tablets line-up, Chinese tech giant Huawei has launched the mid-range MediaPad M5 Lite in India. The new tablet, available in solo 4GB/64GB configuration, will go on sale starting March 6 via leading online and offline sales channels. It comes with M-Pen stylus support, Harman Kardon speakers, and a 7,500mAh battery. Here's our roundup.
A look at the Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite
The MediaPad M5 Lite comes with a conventional rectangular screen surrounded by proportional bezels. The tablet offers a 10.1-inch LCD screen with a full-HD+ (1200x1920 pixels) resolution and a front-facing physical fingerprint scanner. It houses quad Harman Kardon speakers with in-house Histen 5.0 technology for noise cancellation. Besides that, there is also an M-Pen stylus for taking notes, sketching and doodling.

On the imaging front, the MediaPad M5 Lite houses an 8MP primary camera as well as an 8MP front-facing snapper for selfies and video calling. Notably, both these sensors are capable of recording full-HD videos at 30fps.

The Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite is fueled by Kirin 659 octa-core processor, coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage (expandable up to 512GB). Under the hood, it runs Android Oreo-based EMUI 8.0 OS and packs a 7,500mAh battery. Further, the tablet comes with support for dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, Type-C port, LTE support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
