Huawei is all set to launch its latest flagship smartphone - the Mate 20 Pro - today in London. Alongside, the Chinese tech giant is also expected to unveil the Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20X - a gaming smartphone. Notably, all the three devices are expected to be powered by Huawei's 7nm HiSilicon Kirin 980 processor. Here are the details.

Huawei will live stream its Mate 20 Series smartphone launch on its official YouTube channel. The event will start in London at 2 pm BST which translates to 6:30 pm IST.
Huawei Mate Pro 20: At a glance
Up front, the phone will have an edge-to-edge display with an iPhone X-like notch and a slim bottom bezel. On the back, the phone will have a glass panel with a triple camera setup and flash packed in a square-shaped module. The Huawei Mate Pro 20 will reportedly feature a 6.39-inch QHD+ (1440x3120) OLED display and will be IP68-rated for water and dust resistance.
Here's what to expect from Huawei Mate 20
Huawei Mate 20 is likely to feature a 6.43-inch full-HD+ (1080x2244) display with an aspect ratio of 18.7:9. The phone will certainly be powered by the Kirin 980 chipset, possibly paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Further, Mate 20 is expected to pack a 4,000mAh battery and come with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, facial recognition technology, and 3.5mm headphone jack.
Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20 to feature triple rear-camera setup
Reportedly, both phones will sport a triple rear-camera setup comprising a 40-MP (f/1.8) primary sensor with 2x2 pixel binning tech, paired with a 20-MP (f/2.4) secondary sensor with 5x optical zoom and an 8-MP ultra wide-angle sensor. Up front, the phone may sport a 24-MP camera along with a Vertical Surface Emitting Laser (VSEL) module that will enable 3D facial recognition.
Under the hood: Mate 20 Pro
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro will be powered by a 7nm HiSilicon Kirin 980 processor, paired with Mali-G72 GPU, 6GB/8GB RAM, and up to 512GB of storage which is expected to be expandable up to 256GB via proprietary Nano-Memory Card. Further, the phone is said to pack 4,200mAh battery and come with 40W SuperCharge that charges the battery from 0-70% in 30 minutes.
What else do we know about Huawei Mate 20 Pro?
Reports suggest the phone will have an in-display fingerprint sensor but it is unclear if the sensor will be optical or ultrasonic. Further, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro will support high-speed LTE, NFC, Bluetooth v5.0, and Gigabit WLAN with dual-band support. Notably, it will run Android Pie 9.0-based EMUI 9.0 out-of-the-box and will be offered in four color options: Twilight, Black, Blue, and Green.
Huawei Mate 20 Series expected to start at EUR 799
The Huawei Mate 20 is rumored to start at EUR 799 (approx. Rs. 68,400), while its Pro version could be priced at EUR 1,080 (around Rs. 92,300). Further, the Mate 20 may come in Blue and Twilight colors while the Pro model could be offered in Blue, Twilight, and Black colors. And, as of now, there are no details available regarding Mate 20X.
