Huawei Mate 20 Pro's full specs and price leaked
Huawei is all set to unveil its Mate 20 Pro smartphone in London on October 16. And thanks to reputed tipster Roland Quandt, we have a fair idea about the design, specifications, and price of the upcoming Huawei flagship. Interestingly, the phone is expected to be launched alongside the Mate 20 and Mate 20X gaming smartphone. Here's our round-up of Huawei Mate 20 Pro.
Huawei Mate Pro 20
Up front, the phone will have an edge-to-edge display with an iPhone X-like notch and a slim bottom bezel. On the back, the phone will have a glass panel with a triple camera setup and flash packed a square-shaped module. Reportedly, the Huawei Mate Pro 20 will feature a 6.39-inch QHD+ (1440x3120 pixels) OLED display and will be IP68-rated for water and dust resistance.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
As per leaks, the phone will sport a triple rear-camera setup comprising a 40-MP (f/1.8) primary sensor with 2x2 pixel binning tech, paired with a 20-MP (f/2.4) secondary sensor with 5x optical zoom and an 8-MP ultra wide-angle sensor. Up front, the phone may sport a 24-MP camera along with a Vertical Surface Emitting Laser (VSEL) module that will enable 3D facial recognition.
Under the hood
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro will be powered by a 7nm HiSilicon Kirin 980 processor, paired with Mali-G72 GPU, 6GB/8GB RAM, and up to 512GB of storage which is expected to be expandable by up to 256GB via proprietary Nano-Memory Card. Further, the phone is said to pack 4,200mAh battery and come with 40W SuperCharge that charges the battery from 0-70% in 30 minutes.
Huawei is also likely to unveil Apple AirPod-like Freebuds 2
On October 16, Huawei is also expected to launch AirPod-like Freebuds 2 wireless earbuds. Further, while the Mate 20 Pro will support wireless charging, reports suggest the phone will also double up as a wireless charger for Freebuds 2's carry-case.
What else do we know about the upcoming Huawei flagship?
Reports suggest the phone will have an in-display fingerprint sensor but it is unclear if the sensor will be optical or ultrasonic. Further, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro will support high-speed LTE, NFC, Bluetooth v5.0, and Gigabit WLAN with dual-band support. Notably, the phone will run Android Pie 9.0-based EMUI 9.0 out-of-the-box and maybe offered in four color options: Twilight, Black, Blue, and Green.

Recently, tipster Roland Quandt tweeted to leak the pricing of the upcoming Huawei flagship. Quandt claims that the Huawei Mate 20 Pro 6GB/128GB variant will cost GBP 899 (approx. Rs. 88,000) for an unlocked unit in the UK.
