Huawei launches its Honor 9 Lite smartphone in India
Huawei has launched its Honor 9 Lite smartphone in India. The phone's most talked-about feature is its quad cameras, which means the device has dual camera setups on the front and the back with 13MP primary cameras and 2MP secondary cameras. Starting from Rs. 10,999, the phone will start selling exclusively through Flipkart and Honor India Store from January 21.
Honor 9 Lite runs Huawei's own EMUI 8.0 OS
The smartphone runs Huawei's EMUI 8.0 operating system, which is based on Android 8.0 Oreo. It comes in two storage variants of 3GB RAM/32GB and 4GB RAM/64GB. The dual-SIM smartphone features a 5.65-inch full-HD display, a 3000mAh battery and is powered by the octa-core Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor. The device is available in Sapphire Blue, Midnight Black, and Glacial Grey colors.

As far as connectivity options go, the smartphone features Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 4G VoLTE, GPS/A-GPS, and Micro-USB support with a 3.5mm audio jack. The handset has several sensors including accelerometer, light sensor, digital compass, and proximity sensor. The company claims that the phone can withstand a talk time of up to 20 hours on 3G data and fully charges in 2 hours 20 minutes.
Citibank customers can get 10% off on the new smartphone
The smartphone was first launched in China last December with an additional storage variant of 4GB RAM/32GB. Further, as a launch offer, Huawei is offering a 10% discount on the new smartphone for Citibank credit and debit card users.
