Huawei launches Honor 7A budget smartphone with face unlock
Huawei has launched the Honor 7A smartphone in China priced at Rs. 8,300 for the 2GB RAM/32GB storage variant and Rs. 10,300 for the 3GB RAM/32GB variant The major aspects of the phone are face unlock, 18:9 display, and dual rear cameras. The budget smartphone, which will go on sale starting April 3, will be available in Aurora Blue, Black, and Platinum Gold colors.
Honor 7A features 5.7-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio
The smartphone features a 5.7-inch HD+ LCD display with a wide-screen aspect ratio of 18:9. The handset is 152.4x73x7.8mm in dimensions and 150 grams in weight. It comes with stereo speakers, gravity sensor, light sensor, proximity sensor, fingerprint sensor, and face unlock.
Dual camera setup with AI-based features
The 3GB RAM variant of the smartphone features a dual camera setup with a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. On the other hand, the 2GB RAM variant of the Honor 7A sports a single 13MP rear camera. Both the smartphone models sport an 8MP front camera. Further, the phone's camera comes with AI-based features and image blur capabilities.
Under the hood
The Honor 7A is powered by an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor with 2GB/3GB of RAM, and runs the EMUI 8.0 on top of the Android 8.0 Oreo operating system (OS). The dual-SIM phone's 32GB of inbuilt storage can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. The smartphone sports a 3,000mAh non-removable battery.
