HP's new gaming hardware will impress even the toughest critics
HP has launched its latest gaming PC, the Omen 35L, along with a customizable wireless keyborad and stunning RGB microphones. The new PC is designed as a standard desktop tower, ideal for DIY enthusiasts who enjoy upgrading their systems. The Omen 35L adheres to traditional PC standards, featuring a Micro ATX motherboard and an ATX power supply. It also includes enhanced cooling capabilities with two front intake fans of 140mm each and a rear exhaust fan to optimize airflow.
Omen 35L offers high-end configuration options
The Omen 35L offers users the option to equip their systems with high-end components. These include an AMD Ryzen 7 8700G or Intel Core i7-14700 CPU, paired with an NVIDIA RTX 4090 or AMD Radeon RX 7600 GPU. The PC can also be configured with up to 64GB of DDR5 memory and two M.2 PCIe Gen4 SSDs, each offering storage capacity of up to 2TB. The HP Omen 35L is now available for purchase starting at $1,299 (around ₹96,000).
HyperX Alloy Rise 75 wireless keyboard is fully customizable
In addition to the Omen 35L, HP has also launched the HyperX Alloy Rise 75, its first customizable wireless keyboard. It features swappable top plates, key switches, and badges for personalization. The device is a gasket-mounted keyboard designed to minimize flex during use. The HyperX Alloy Rise 75 also boasts an impressive battery life of up to 80 hours with RGB or up to a staggering 1,500 hours without it. It will arrive this October, starting at $230 (roughly ₹17,000).
HP introduces new microphones to complement Omen 35L PC
HP has also unveiled a new pair of microphones, the HyperX QuadCast 2 S and QuadCast 2. The updated USB microphone offers improved fidelity over its predecessor, with the HyperX QuadCast 2 S capable of recording at an even higher fidelity. The 2 S model is more attactive with 100 LEDs, allowing users to customize the color of the microphone on a per-LED basis.
The microphones offer advanced recording patterns
The HyperX QuadCast 2 microphones offer four different recording patterns: cardioid, omnidirectional, bi-directional, and stereo. They include a dial for adjusting gain and volume. Users can also use AI-powered noise reduction with HyperX NGenuity software on PCs. The HyperX QuadCast 2 is now available for $149 (roughly ₹11,000), while the higher fidelity model, the HyperX QuadCast 2 S will be released in November at a price of $199 (approximately ₹14,700).
HP introduces first Omen-branded components
Alongside the new gaming PC and other hardware, HP has introduced its first-ever Omen-branded components. These include 140mm ARGB case fans, ARGB liquid coolers of sizes 240mm/360mm equipped with a seventh-generation Astek pump, and fully-modular ATX power supplies with capacities of 850W/1000W. The company has also expanded its Omen Gaming Hub software to include Google Play Games, which is currently in beta release for bringing mobile games to PCs.
