HP Chromebook x360, with Google Assistant, launched in India
American tech giant HP has launched its latest Chromebook x360 laptop in India. Starting at Rs. 29,990, the new laptop is available with 12-inch and 14-inch display sizes and features a 360-degree form factor. The notebook will be available for purchase via all major online and offline sales channels across the country. Here's more.
A look at the HP Chromebook x360
The new laptop, which is particularly targeted towards college students, offers a premium look featuring 12-inch or 14-inch touch-enabled LED screen with HD+ resolution and 3:2 aspect ratio. The laptop comes with a 360-degree hinge and can be used as a tablet as well. Furthermore, it offers an optional USI (Universal Stylus Initiative) Stylus for taking notes, drawing pictures, etc.
Under the hood
The new Chromebook x360 draws power from Intel Gemini Lake dual-core processor. The laptop offers 100GB of storage as part of free Google One subscription (for a year) and 256GB of expandable memory. Besides that, it offers a battery life of 11 hours and comes with support for Google Assistant as well as Google Play Store.
Connectivity options, audio and other features
The HP Chromebook x360 supports all latest connectivity options including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, two USB 3.2 Type-C ports, a USB 3.1 port, and a couple of jacks for microphone and headphone. Additionally, it comes with custom-tuned Bang & Olufsen Play stereo speakers for improved audio experience.
And, what about pricing?
The HP Chromebook x360 costs Rs. 29,990 for the 12-inch variant and goes upto Rs. 39,990 for the 14-inch model. Besides that, the optional stylus is priced at Rs. 3,999. The company has not mentioned the exact availability date of the device yet. However, both the aforementioned models will be up for grabs via all major online and offline sales channels.
