HONOR X7 launched with Snapdragon 680 chipset, 5,000mAh battery
HONOR has announced the new X7 model in Malaysia. The design and key specifications of the handset were revealed earlier this month. However, the pricing and availability details are yet to be disclosed. Coming to the highlights, the HONOR X7 has a large HD+ screen, a Snapdragon 680 processor, a 48MP primary camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 22.5W fast-charging support.

In the last few days, the company has announced X8 and X9 smartphones in Saudi Arabia and Malaysia, respectively. Now, it has launched the X7 in Malaysia to attract new smartphone buyers.
The smartphone has a 90Hz LCD display
The HONOR X7 features a waterdrop notch design with slim bezels and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. On the rear, it has an oval-shaped quad camera setup. The handset boasts a 6.74-inch HD+ (720x1600 pixels) LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and an aspect ratio of 20:9. It also has the TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification.
It can record 1080p videos
The HONOR X7 features a quad rear camera setup comprising a 48MP (f/1.8) primary camera, a 5MP (f/2.2) wide-angle lens, a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor, and a 2MP (f/2.4) macro camera. On the front, it has an 8MP (f/2.0) camera for shooting selfies. The device can capture videos at 1080p resolution via both the front and rear cameras.
The device supports 22.5W fast-charging
The HONOR X7 is powered by a Snapdragon 680 chipset and comes in a 4GB/128GB configuration with a hybrid slot for a microSD card. It runs on Android 11 with Magic UI 4.2 baked on top. The device packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 22.5W wired fast-charging. Connectivity options on the X7 include dual-SIMs, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth 5.1, among others.
HONOR X7: Pricing and availability
HONOR is yet to reveal the pricing of the X7 in Malaysia. It comes in Ocean Blue and Titanium Silver color options and is likely to go on sale in the coming days.
