Honor Play 4T series to be launched on April 9
Honor is working to launch the Play 4T and Play 4T Pro models in China on April 9. In the latest update, tipster Ishan Agarwal and 91mobiles have collaborated to give us a first look at the handsets and revealed some of their key specifications. As per the tip-off, the standard model will sport a punch-hole design, 48MP dual camera, and mid-level internals.
A look at the Honor Play 4T
The Honor Play 4T will offer an edge-to-edge screen with a small display cut-out at the top left corner and a prominent bezel at the bottom. On the rear, the glossy panel will house a dual camera setup and a physical fingerprint scanner. The handset is expected to offer a 6.4-inch LCD screen with an HD+ (720x1600 pixels) resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio.
The phone will offer a 48MP dual camera
In the imaging department, the Honor Play 4T will house a dual-lens rear camera setup comprising a 48MP primary sensor coupled with a 2MP lens to capture depth details. Up front, the handset will house an 8MP selfie snapper.
Under the hood
The Honor Play 4T will draw power from a Kirin 710A octa-core processor, coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. It will run on Android 10-based Magic UI 3.1 and pack a solid 4,000mAh battery. In addition, the handset will come with support for the latest connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, VoLTE, and a headphone jack.
And, what about Honor Play 4T Pro?
Alongside the standard model, the Chinese tech giant will also launch the more premium Honor Play 4T Pro at the same event. The handset will sport a U-shaped notched design featuring a 6.3-inch OLED screen with a Full-HD+ resolution and an under-display fingerprint reader. Furthermore, it will house a 48MP triple camera, 16MP selfie snapper, and a more powerful Kirin 810 processor.
