    What's the story

Huawei-owned Honor will launch its latest flagship smartphone - the Magic 2 - on October 31 in China.

However, the phone has now been spotted on Geekbench, revealing its key details like the Kirin 980 processor, 8GB RAM, and Android Pie operating system.

Further, the Honor Magic 2 was recently leaked in full-glory, confirming major design features and other specs.

    Here's everything we know.

    Technicality

Firstly, what is Geekbench and Geekbench's scores?

Geekbench is a cross-platform processor benchmark platform which grades processors on their single-core and multi-core performances.

While calculating multi-core scores, Geekbench runs multiple streams of instructions simultaneously per core and reports an aggregate score.

With single-core scores, the same process is applied but on a single core.

Notably, the quicker a CPU completes the instructions, the higher is its Geekbench score.
