#LeakPeek: Honor 9X Pro to come with quad rear cameras
As an addition to its portfolio of smartphones, Huawei-owned Honor is planning to launch Honor 9X Pro along with Honor 9X sometime later this year. In the latest development, a Chinese tipster has leaked the key specifications of the Pro model. According to the tip-off, the smartphone is expected to come with Kirin 810 chipset, a quad rear-camera, and a 4,000mAh battery. Here's more.

Honor 9X Pro is likely to feature a 6.5-inch or 6.7-inch screen with a punch-hole design. On the back, it is expected to house a quad camera setup along with the 3D glass design and gradient finish. However, the details about color schemes and the resolution of the screen are still unknown at the moment.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
As per the leaks, the Honor 9X Pro is expected to house a quad rear camera setup comprising a 48MP Sony IMX582 primary sensor, paired with an 8MP super-wide angle sensor, a 2MP macro lens, and another 2MP lens to capture depth information. Up front, it is likely to feature a 25MP selfie snapper packed in the punch hole design.
Under the hood
According to the leaks, the Honor 9X Pro is likely to be powered by newly designed Kirin 810 chipset along with the integrated NPU. Notably, the same processor is also used in the Huawei Nova 5 which is set to launch in China on June 21. Under the hood, it is expected to be backed by a 4,000mAh battery with 20W fast charging support.
Honor 9X Pro could launch sometime later this year
Honor 9X Pro is expected to be launched alongside the Honor 9X. The launch event will take place around August-September this year. However, there is no official confirmation about the launch date of the smartphone yet.
