Ahead of launch, Honor 30 Pro's key specifications revealed

Huawei's sub-brand Honor is working to launch the Honor 30 Pro and Honor 30 smartphones on April 15.
Now, just days ahead of the official launch, a TENAA listing has revealed the key specifications of the Pro model, confirming an OLED screen and a quad-camera setup.
Separately, a Geekbench listing has also confirmed that the handset would pack a Kirin 990 chipset.
Design and display
How will it look like?
At present, not much is known about the design of the Honor 30 Pro. However, a leaked render has hinted that the phone will come with a curved screen.
As per the TENAA listing, the handset will house a 6.57-inch OLED screen with a Full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) resolution, and an under-display fingerprint sensor.

For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
In the imaging department, the Honor 30 Pro will offer a quad-lens rear camera setup comprising a 50MP primary sensor. Meanwhile, the details of the remaining three lenses are not known at the moment. Up front, it will sport a 32MP selfie snapper.

The Honor 30 Pro will reportedly draw power from an in-house 5G-ready Kirin 990 chipset, coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage.
The phone will run on Android 10-based EMUI 10, but will lack the support of Google services.
Moreover, it is likely to house a 3,900mAh battery and will support 40W wired fast charging technology.

The company will announce the official pricing and availability details of the Honor 30 Pro at its launch event itself, which is set to happen on April 15. However, looking at the specifications, the phone is likely to cost around CNY 3,700 (nearly Rs. 40,000).
