Honor 10 launched: Pre-orders on Flipkart start from midnight

Huawei-owned Honor brand has launched its 2018 flagship smartphone - the Honor 10.
The phone, which borrows design cues from the Huawei P20 series, comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor (hidden underneath the bottom bezel) and advanced AI features to offer professional-grade photography.
Notably, Honor 10 will be available exclusively on Flipkart at Rs. 32,999, with pre-orders starting from midnight.

Honor has launched only the 6GB RAM/128GB storage variant in India, that has been priced at Rs. 32,999. Further, the phone comes in two color options - Phantom Blue and Midnight Black. Honor 10 pre-orders start on Flipkart at midnight today i.e. May 16, 00:00 hrs.
Design and Display
At a glance
Touted to feature the industry's first color reflection coating technology, Honor 10 gets a 3D glass back with two-tone gradient finish, designed to change colors depending upon the viewing angle.
The phone sports a 5.84-inch full-HD (2280*1080 pixels) LCD display with an aspect ratio of 19:9.
Honor 10, like its Huawei P20 siblings, gets a smaller notch which can be hidden if desired.

Interestingly, you can unlock Honor 10 even with wet fingers
For biometric authentication, the Honor 10 uses Qualcomm ultrasonic fingerprint sensor which is concealed underneath the bottom bezel. This sensor has been claimed to work accurately even if your fingers are wet or greasy.

The Honor 10 gets a rear dual-camera setup with a 16-megapixel RGB sensor and 24-megapixel monochrome sensor. Notably, both sensors have an f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, and 2X optical zoom.
On the front, the phone offers a 24-megapixel camera with portrait lighting feature (like iPhone X).
Powered by AI, Honor 10 cameras can identify 22 real-time objects and 500+ scenes, and then accordingly enhance the pictures.

Honor 10 is powered by Huawei's AI-powered Kirin 970 processor, coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage (non-expandable) and runs Android 8.1 Oreo-based EMUI 8.1.
The phone packs by a 3,400mAh battery which supports fast charging over USB-C, and can charge upto 50% in 25 minutes.
The phone also gets a 3.5mm headphone jack.
