Honor 10 to be launched on May 15 in India
What's the story
Recently announced Honor's 2018 flagship - the Honor 10 - will launch on May 15 in India, its exclusive sales partner Flipkart has revealed through a teaser.
The e-commerce giant has also activated a 'Notify me' page regarding the phone's launch.
As for pricing, Honor 10 is expected to cost around Rs. 35,000 - an aggressive price-mark to take on the upcoming OnePlus 6.

What is expected out of Honor's 2018 flagship smartphone
In terms of design and looks, the device bears resemblance to the recently launched Huawei P20 series.
The Honor 10 features a 5.84-inch, full-HD+ (1080x2280 pixels) LCD display with a 19:9 screen aspect ratio.
Further, it bears an aluminum frame with a glass front and back. The phone measures 149.6x71.2x7.7mm and weighs 153 grams.

Honor 10 features a dual-rear camera setup with 16MP and 24MP sensors with f/1.8 aperture and dual LED flash.
The primary camera can capture 4K videos at 30fps and is touted to feature AI 2.0 technology which offers image enhancement.
The device bears a 24-MP front camera which also supports AI 2.0 for better selfies and advanced face detection.

Honor 10 gets Type-C connector for charging, supports 7-channel audio
Honor 10 supports 7-channel audio, courtesy a dedicated Hi-Fi 7-channel audio chip. The phone also retains the 3.5mm headphone jack. Moreover, the handset gets a USB Type-C connector for charging, Bluetooth 4.2, front-mounted fingerprint sensor and Corning Gorilla Glass screen protection.

Honor 10 is powered by an octa-core Kirin 970 SoC processor, coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB/ 128GB of inbuilt storage (not expandable).
The phone runs on Huawei's EMUI 8.1 OS, which is based on Android 8.1 Oreo.
The handset packs a 3,400mAh battery which supports quick charging.
Honor 10 will come in Black, Grey, Mirage Blue, and Mirage Purple color variants.
