Honor 10 GT variant with 8GB RAM launched in China
As a performance variant of the flagship Honor 10 smartphone, the Huawei-owned brand has launched Honor 10 GT in China. The Honor 10 GT comes with 8GB of RAM and GPU Turbo - Honor's in-house performance boosting technology. Further, this new variant retains the design elements and other internals seen on the Honor 10. About Honor's GPU Turbo technology
Available as a software update over-the-air, Honor's new GPU Turbo technology increases device's performance by 60% while decreasing power usage by 30%. It is currently in beta stage. While the Honor 10 GT will be shipped with the latest OS, Honor 10 devices in China will receive the update by July 15. Further, the update will be rolled out to Honor 10 devices in India by August 2018.
Honor 10 GT: At a glance
The Honor 10 GT features a 5.84-inch full-HD+ (1080x2160 pixels) FullView display with an aspect ratio of 19:9. It is powered by Huawei's HiSilicon Kirin 970 processor, coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone supports dual-SIM cards, runs Android Oreo 8.1-based EMUI 8.1 and packs a 3,400mAh battery with AI-powered charging technology.

Like the regular Honor 10, the GT variant too gets a dual rear camera setup comprising a 24-megapixel primary sensor and a 16-megapixel sensor with f/1.8 aperture, Phase Detection Auto Focus, and AI-powered image enhancements. Up front, the phone comes with a 24-megapixel selfie shooter with 1.8-micron pixels.
