IFA 2019: HMD Global launches three new Nokia feature phones
HMD Global has been reviving classic Nokia phones and the latest handsets to get a modern avatar are the Nokia 110 (2019), 800 Tough, and 2720 Flip. The 110 (2019) arrives as an upgrade to the Nokia 110 launched in 2012 while the Nokia 800 Tough comes with a military-grade build quality. And the Nokia 2720 Flip resurrects the classic clamshell design. Here's more.
Nokia 2720 Flip
The Nokia 2720 Flip, featuring clamshell-like design, offers a 2.8-inch main display and a 1.3-inch secondary screen on the outside for display. It is backed by the Qualcomm 205 chipset, paired with 512MB RAM and 4GB storage (expandable up to 32GB). The phone also comes with a 2MP rear camera, an emergency button, dual-SIM support, KaiOS software, 4G support, flashlight, and a 1,500mAh battery.
Nokia 800 Tough
With an IP68 water and dust resistance and a military-grade construction, the Nokia 800 Tough is built for extreme conditions. The phone offers a 2.4-inch QVGA display, Qualcomm 205 processor, 512MB RAM and 4GB of storage (expandable up to 32GB). It also gets dual-SIM support, a 2MP rear camera, LTE connectivity, Bluetooth, flashlight, Google Assistant, KaiOS support, and a standby time of 22 days.
Nokia 110 (2019)
The Nokia 110 (2019) resurrects the Nokia 11 from 2012 with a candy bar shape, rubberized T9 keypad, and 1.77-inch QVGA display. It also offers microSD card support for storage expansion, LTE connectivity, mini-SIM slot, a VGA camera, torchlight, FM radio and upto 14 hours of talk time. Lastly, the handset runs on Nokia Series 30+ software and comes with pre-installed apps and games.

The Nokia 110 (2019) costs $20 (approx. Rs. 1,400) while the Nokia 800 Tough and Nokia 2720 Flip are priced at $120 (approx. Rs. 8,600) and $98 (approx. Rs. 7,000), respectively. The Nokia 2720 Flip and Nokia 110 (2019) will go on sale later this month while the Nokia 800 Tough will arrive in October.
