Nokia 5 3GB RAM variant released for Rs. 13,499
HMD Global has announced the launch of its mid-range Nokia 5 smartphone in a new configuration with 3GB of RAM in India. The 3GB variant, priced at Rs. 13,499, goes on sale today. It would be exclusively available online on Flipkart. To recall, Nokia 5 with 2GB RAM was launched at Rs. 12,499. Take a look at what the device has to offer!
Where can you buy the phone?
The Nokia 5 3GB variant would be initially available online via Flipkart for a week (7-14 November), after which it would hit offline stores as well, via select retailers. As a promotional offer, Reliance Jio is also providing an additional data offer for online customers. Jio is promising 5GB extra 4G data on recharges of Rs. 309 and above.
Identical to original Nokia 5 smartphone
Apart from the 3GB RAM, the new Nokia 5 variant has features and specs similar to the original 2GB model. It sports a 5.2-inch HD IPS display and runs on Android 7 Nougat out-of-the-box. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor. It has 16GB internal-storage, expandable up to 128GB. It comes with a 13MP rear-camera and an 8MP selfie shooter.
New variant available only in two colors
The Nokia 5 3GB RAM model houses a non-removable 3,000mAh battery. The dual-SIM (nano) device also supports 4G VoLTE. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro-USB with OTG, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It would be available in Matte Black and Tempered Blue colors. However, the original 2GB variant was launched in two additional color variants of Copper and Silver.
