#GamingBytes: Hitman 2 puts Agent 47 in wild Colombian jungles
Hitman 2 is an upcoming sequel to the 2016 game, which will be available from November 13. Yesterday, Warner Bros. and IO Interactive released the teaser video titled 'Welcome to the Jungle'. It introduces the second location in the game. The trailer sees Agent 47 in the jungles of Colombia stealthily moving amongst armed men. Read to know more.
The magical realism of the Colombian jungles
Unlike previous Hitman locations, Colombia is distinctly different. Usually, the urban environments allow Agent 47 to blend in with crowds and eliminate his target. However, in the lush green jungles of Colombia, 47 will have to be secretive and mindful of threats from wild animals, poisonous plants, and even traps. In all likelihood, 47 will be facing the cocaine cartels in the Colombian jungles.
Neckties, contracts, high voltage: Various assassination methods
Like the 2016 Hitman game, players will have multiple ways to eliminate a target in Hitman 2. The first trailer, which showed 47 take out a Formula 1 driver in Miami, showcased the various assassination methods.
What is the story about?
Hitman 2 will likely be episodic but have a standalone release. The game will see Agent 47 trying to kill the Shadow Client and dismantle his militia, but things change when secrets are revealed. The new game will have a Sniper Assassin mode, allowing co-op play for the first time. Notably, Hitman's trademark briefcase, which allows him to carry larger weapons, will return.
Other possible locations
Hitman 2 has already revealed two locations- Miami and Colombia. The other possible locations are India, suburbs of North America, the North Sea, and New Zealand. The previous six locations from Hitman will be available for free to gamers who purchase Hitman 2.
