Hero Electric to launch electric scooter and bikes in India
Hero Electric has unveiled a new e-scooter, codenamed AXLHE-20, and two new e-bicycles, called A2B Kuo Boost and A2B Speed, strategically before the Auto Expo 2018. The three electric vehicles are expected to be launched in the country later this year in multiple-phases. The company, which is celebrating a decade of manufacturing electric two-wheelers this year, did not reveal the pricing of the e-vehicles.
The e-scooter can run for 110km on single charge
The e-scooter AXLHE-20 can run for up to 110 kilometers on a single charge at a top speed of 85 kilometers per hour. It features regenerative breaking for an improved performance and a lithium-ion battery that can get fully charged in around four hours. The e-scooter is powered by a 4,000 Watt motor that produces a power of 6,000 Watt at its peak.
The e-scooter can be connected to mobile app, cloud
Users can connect the e-scooter with a smartphone app which will provide them key-less entry and GPS tracking and route optimization capabilities. It will also be able to connect with dealers through the cloud, post which users can receive timely information regarding outstanding services.
A2B Speed e-bicycle features 500 Watt motor, 36 Volt battery
The A2B Speed e-bicycle has a range of 70 kilometers on a single charge with a top speed of 45 kilometers per hour. It is powered by a 500 Watt motor and features a 36 Volt battery. In terms of looks and physical features, the e-bicycle sports an aluminum frame, hydraulic disc brakes, and eight gear Shimano XT rear derailleur transmission.
The A2B Kuo Boost e-bicycle is foldable
The A2B Kuo Boost e-bicycle's USP is that it is foldable in nature. The 20-kilogram bicycle has an aluminum frame and an eight-speed gearbox. The e-bike has a range of 60 kilometers and a top speed of 32 kilometers per hour. It is powered by a 350 Watt motor and a lithium-ion battery that can go without replacement for up to 700 full charge cycles.
