Setup
Setting up your account
Before you can verify your payment address, you need to first set up your PhonePe account.
Download the app from the Google Play Store and sign up with your mobile number.
Provide your name, email, and create a strong password.
This initial step is important as it lays the foundation for all future transactions, including payment address verification.
Bank verification
Adding and verifying bank details
Post account creation, go to My Money, click on Bank Accounts, and then Add New Bank Account.
Choose your bank and let PhonePe send a verification SMS (you may be charged for it).
After successful verification, you will see a confirmation message. This ensures all your transactions are safe and coming from a verified source.
Verification process
Utilizing Verify Payment Address feature
Once your account is set up and bank details are verified, please use the "Verify Payment Address" option.
