    GoPro, the popular US-based action camera maker, has launched an upgraded version of its MAX model in India.

    It's the first update the camera has gotten since its original release over five years ago.

    The new GoPro MAX 360 comes at a price of ₹38,500 and will be available for purchase starting April.

    The advanced camera comes with a dual-lens system and supports 5.6K resolution capture, giving users the ability to capture high-quality images.

    The GoPro MAX 360 provides 360-degree capture at up to 5.6K resolution and up to 1440p resolution in Hero mode.

    It also features digital lenses for linear, wide, and ultra-wide views.

    Plus, the camera packs six microphones that can record in stereo or bi-directionally, making it a great option for audio recording as well.

    Stabilization features

    Advanced stabilization and compatibility

    The GoPro MAX 360 also comes with HyperSmooth video stabilization and horizon leveling, features that are usually seen in the Hero camera line-up.

    It also offers in-camera video stitching for seamless 360-degree capture.

    The camera is powered by a GP1 chip and a 1,960mAh MAX Enduro battery, which is designed to improve efficiency.

    App update

    GoPro introduces updated Quik app

    Along with the launch of MAX 360 camera, GoPro has also launched an updated Quik app for smartphones.

    The revamped app has been designed to make 360-degree video editing easier on mobile.

    It comes with features like AI-powered object tracking, keyframing, pre-loaded camera movement styles, automatic transitions, single clip edits, and a frame grab tool.

    GoPro's Reframe plugin for Adobe Premiere Pro

    For desktop users, GoPro has launched its Reframe plugin for Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.

    The plugin lets you adjust a range of parameters - angle, position, lens curvature, horizon level, motion blur, etc. - for both 360-degree and 2D media.

    It promises a complete editing experience for both amateur and professional videographers.
