Google Pixel 3 design leaked, and there are no surprises
In a few months from now, Google will launch its next flagship smartphones - the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL - a name that was confirmed recently by an Android Open Source Project code commit. In the latest update, a placeholder image found in Android P developer beta has hinted at how Pixel 3 might look like. Here's what the placeholder image reveals.
Google Pixel 3 illustrations secretly buried inside Android P beta?
Google Pixel 2/2XL were top-notch phones with perhaps the best camera on a mobile device to date. However, thick bottom and top bezels on the front proved a turn-off for many. Now, a placeholder image found inside Android P developer beta reveals a sketch of a smartphone that is completely bezel-less and notch-less - a design we expect to see on the Pixel 3/3XL.
Where will Google pack the front camera and sensors?
Given the Vivo Apex was an all-screen phone and that Lenovo will soon launch its bezel-less phone, this placeholder illustration could actually be true. However, it will be interesting to see how the tech giant manages to house the front camera and other essential sensors that must be placed on the front of the phone.
But Google's Android P has embraced the notch
While the current leak is interesting, one must take this with a pinch of salt as this illustration could just be for representational purposes only. The Pixel 3 might feature a completely different design, may even embrace the notch considering Android P natively supports it.
