Google Pixel 5a 5G to sport a Snapdragon 765G processor
Google will launch its latest Pixel smartphone, the Pixel 5a 5G, in the US, Japan, and probably India, later this year. In the latest development, an Android 12 Developer Preview 3 report (via 9to5Google) has revealed that the handset will come with a Snapdragon 765G chipset, which is the same as the Pixel 5's. The phone may offer a 90Hz OLED display
The Google Pixel 5a 5G is expected to feature a punch-hole cut-out with slim bezels. On the rear, it will pack a square-shaped module housing at least two cameras and a physical fingerprint scanner for secure authentication of biometric data. The device will likely bear a 6.2-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) OLED screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz.
An 8MP selfie camera is expected
The Google Pixel 5a 5G should sport either a dual or triple rear camera setup comprising a 12.2MP primary sensor and a 13MP ultra-wide lens. On the front, it may have an 8MP snapper for selfies and video calling.
It may boot Android 12 OS
The Google Pixel 5a 5G will draw power from a Snapdragon 765G processor, paired with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. It may run on Android 12 and pack a 3,480mAh battery with fast-charging support. In terms of connectivity, the device should offer support for Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, 5G, a headphone jack, and a Type-C port.

At present, there is no information regarding the pricing and availability of the Google Pixel 5a 5G handset. However, considering the leaked specifications, it may carry a price-tag of around Rs. 35,000 in India.
