Google Pixel 4 XL leak confirms new 'Coral' variant
Google's Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL might be two of the most leaked handsets on the Internet. From hands-on images to official teasers and early renders, we have seen the phones from all angles and heard all about their marquee features. And now, we have the first live image of the XL model in a brand new orange finish. Take a look.
New leak confirms White, Black and Coral color variants
The leaked image reveals three different colors of the alleged Pixel 4 XL including the previously-leaked white and black as well as a new orange variant. The Weibo tipster has claimed that this new model will be called "coral" because of its resemblance with the actual coral color. As for design, the new variant will be the same as other Pixel 4 XL variants.
Meanwhile, here's how Google Pixel 4-series will look like
Notably, the Pixel 4 series will feature a notch-less display with slim bezels on three sides and a thick top bezel. Google has opted for this "forehead design" to pack the Soli radar chip and IR cameras essential for Motion Sense and Face Unlock features. On the rear, the glossy+matte design will be replaced by a glossy glass panel that'll house a dual-camera setup.
Google Pixel 4 models to sport 90Hz OLED displays
The Pixel 4, according to a recent leak, will feature a 5.8-inch full-HD+ OLED screen while the XL model will offer a larger and sharper 6.3-inch QHD+ OLED display. Moreover, both screens will also support 90Hz refresh rate which Google may call as "Smooth Display". This high refresh rate will allow for smoother scrolling and swiping experience, more fluid animations, and better gaming experience.
Google will also offer upgraded cameras on Pixel 4 phones
The Pixel 4 duo is tipped to come with a dual-lens rear camera comprising a 12MP standard lens and a 16MP telephoto lens. However, on the front, the handsets are likely to come with a single selfie snapper. Some of the other expected features are improved Night Sight, Live HDR, Audio Zoom, 8x zoom capability, and a new "Motion Mode".
Under the hood
The Pixel 4 series will be backed by the flagship Snapdragon 855 chipset, coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. Under the hood, the standard Pixel 4 will pack a 2,800mAh battery while the XL model will have a 3,700mAh battery. Lastly, both handsets will come with stereo speakers, Titan M chip, revamped Google Assistant and Android 10 OS.
