Google Pixel 3a, 3a XL pricing leaked ahead of launch
Thanks to countless leaks, we know Google is working to launch two new lower-cost Pixel phones sometime in May. Dubbed as Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL, both models will come with a Pixel 3-like design but with stripped down internals. In the latest development, a leak has tipped their Canadian pricing, claiming that the new range will start at CAD 650 (Rs. 34,000).
Pixel 3a, Pixel 3a XL: At a glance
As per renders, both phones will sport a notch-less rectangular display with prominent bezels, plastic chassis, and headphone jack. On the back, they'll feature a single camera, and fingerprint sensor - similar to Pixel 3 flagships. Reportedly, Pixel 3a will get a 5.6-inch AMOLED display with 1080x2220 pixels resolution while the Pixel 3a XL will get a larger 6-inch screen with 1080x2160 pixels resolution.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
Given Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL flagships share roughly the same specifications (internals and optics), we can expect to see the same trend on the lower cost Pixel 3a models. As per leaks, both Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL will come with a single 12.2MP rear camera and a single 8MP selfie snapper with a wide-angle lens.
Under the hood
Under the hood, the Pixel 3a will be powered by a Snapdragon 670 chipset while Pixel 3a XL will get a Snapdragon 710 processor. Further, both models are tipped to come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. These lower-cost phones will also feature Pixel 3's "Active Edge" feature and support fast charging via a USB Type-C port.
Google Pixel 3a tipped to be priced at Rs. 34,000
