Google Pixel 3 XL: Rumors, leaks and more
A week after the probable specs of upcoming Google Pixel smartphones were leaked, fresh images of a Pixel 3 XL prototype have emerged online. These latest images show the phone from all angles and highlight the key specs and features of the phone such as the presence of a notch-based display and dual front cameras. Here's our roundup of Pixel 3 XL.
What do the Pixel 3 XL prototype image leaks reveal?
The images reveal the front and back of an alleged Pixel 3 XL, from all angles. These photos show the Pixel 3 XL with a notched display that packs two front camera sensors and probably a speaker/earpiece module. Moreover, you can see slight chin at the bottom which houses front-facing speakers as well - something previous reports had also suggested.
Google is expected to launch 3 Pixel variants this year
According to recent reports, Google is working to launch three Pixel smartphones for 2018. These devices have been codenamed "crosshatch", "albacore", and "blueline." Notably, codename "crosshatch" has been spotted on the leaked images of the alleged Pixel 3 XL.
Images also suggest a single rear camera and glass back
On the back, Pixel 3 XL is seen sporting a single rear camera and a smaller sensor/mic placed between the flash and the lens. The phone bears a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a glossier back panel which may be of glass (for wireless charging?). Futher, the SIM tray is seen next to the USB Type-C port at the bottom, and there is no 3.5mm audio jack.
