Google Pixel 3 Lite XL leaked: Specifications, design and launch
Last month, an alleged Pixel 3 Lite was leaked in full glory and now, its larger counterpart has been claimed to "be in the pipeline". OnLeaks and 91mobiles have collaborated to create high quality renders of the phone, giving us our first look at the Pixel 3 Lite XL. Interestingly, the expected specifications of the phone have also been tipped. Here's our roundup.
Google Pixel 3 Lite XL: At a glance
As per the renders, the Pixel 3 Lite XL will come as a larger variant of the Pixel 3 Lite. This means you'll get a rectangular screen (no ugly notch), a single front camera, plastic chassis and a headphone jack at the top. Further, the phone is tipped to sport a 6-inch full-HD+ display with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio.
Pixel 3 Lite XL to get Pixel 3 Lite's camera
Given Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 flagships share roughly the same specifications (internals and optics), we can expect to see the same trend on the cheaper Pixel 3 pair. Hence, like the Pixel 3 Lite, its XL variant is also expected to come with a 12MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie snapper.
Under the hood
The Pixel 3 Lite XL, like its smaller variant, is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. However, a 64GB storage option may also be offered. Further, like the Pixel 3 Lite, the larger variant could pack a 2,915mAh battery and run Android Pie out-of-the-box.
Pricing and availability
While the details around its launch are unclear, it is safe to assume that it will be introduced alongside the smaller variant. And considering we have already seen a "working" Pixel 3 Lite, the launch could happen anytime soon. In terms of pricing, the Pixel 3 Lite was tipped to cost $400-500 (approx. Rs. 29,700- Rs 35,900).
