Google Home Hub unveiled, will take on Amazon's Echo Show
As the latest addition to the portfolio of smart devices, Google has launched the Google Home Hub smart speaker. It's basically a smart speaker with a display that's powered by Ambient EQ, which fine-tunes the color and brightness of the display depending on the ambient light. Hub offers features like Live Albums and Home View
Google Home Hub comes with smart home control feature called Home View that lets you control your smart home accessories like lights, thermostat, door bells, among other equipments. The other nifty feature is Live Albums that lets Hub show your favorite photos. Moreover, using machine learning, it filters out underexposed/blurry photos. Further, it come with six months of YouTube Premium subscription for free.
Google Home: Price and Availability
Google Home Hub is priced at $149. In the US, pre-orders for the smart home device open today and it will go on sale from October 22.
