Glance is working with Qualcomm to create AI-powered lockscreen
Glance is reportedly working with Qualcomm to create an AI-powered lockscreen experience. This collaboration aims to significantly reduce data usage for its personalized feed and shift much of the processing to on-device. In the US, Glance has no plans to display ads on the lockscreen. The platform comes pre-installed on devices but can be easily removed by users if desired.
Glance's platform is active on 300 million smartphones
Currently, Glance's lockscreen platform is accessible on over 450 million smartphones worldwide and is active on about 300 million of them. The company aims to collaborate with more telecom operators as well as brands like CNN and NBA in the US.
