Garmin Venu, Vivoactive 4 launched at prices starting Rs. 32,600
US-based Garmin is fast expanding its portfolio of wearables in India. Over the past few months, the company has launched its Forerunner 45 smartwatches as well as the rugged, multi-sport Fenix 6 series wearables. And now, Garmin has introduced its more stylish and fashionable Venu and Vivoactive 4 smartwatches in the country at a starting price of Rs. 32,590. Here's our roundup.
Garmin Venu: The company's first-ever AMOLED display smartwatch
The Venu arrives as the company's first-ever smartwatch to feature an AMOLED display. It has a 1.2-inch touchscreen and is available in Granite Blue with Silver case, Black with Slate case, Light sand with Rose Gold case, and Black with Gold case. The Venu offers a claimed battery life of upto 5 days in smartwatch mode, and upto 6 hours in GPS+music mode.
The Vívoactive 4 offers a battery life of upto 8-days
Meanwhile, the Vívoactive 4, available in a case size of 45mm, is offered in Shadow Gray/Silver, and Black/Slate colors. It offers a battery life of upto 8 days in smartwatch mode and upto 6 hours in GPS+music mode.
Both models offer all-day health monitoring features
Both Venu and Vivoactive 4 come with a range of health monitoring features such as advanced sleep with Pulse Ox, new respiration tracking, heart rate monitoring with alerts, menstrual cycle tracking, stress tracking, new hydration tracking, and new breathwork activities. The wearables support interchangeable bands and an always-on, sunlight-readable "Garmin Chroma Display" for easy legibility under sunlight.
Pricing and availability
The Garmin Venu is priced at Rs. 37,490 and it is available exclusively via Amazon till December 15. After that, it will be up for grabs via Tata CLiQ, Myntra, Flipkart, Paytm Mall as well as leading offline stores. Separately, the Garmin Vívoactive 4 costs Rs. 32,590, and will be available via Amazon, Tata CLiQ, Myntra, Flipkart, Paytm Mall online, and major brick-and-mortar stores.
