Samsung to launch three new premium phones in December: Report
Samsung is gearing up to launch three new premium smartphones in India before the end of this year, according to 91Mobiles. The publication, citing a source familiar with the matter, has claimed that Samsung will launch its first-ever low-cost flagship phones, the Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy Note 10 Lite, along with the mid-end Galaxy A51, in December. Here are all the details.
Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite: An affordable flagship
The S10 Lite will arrive as the most affordable smartphone from the Galaxy S10 line-up. Going by the leaks, it will feature a punch-hole design, a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) resolution. The handset is also said to pack a flagship-grade Snapdragon 855 processor, 8GB of RAM, upto 128GB internal storage, and a 4,000mAh battery with 45W fast-charging technology.
The S10 Lite will reportedly house a 48MP triple camera
In the camera department, the Galaxy S10 Lite will house a triple camera unit comprising a 48MP (f/2.0) main sensor, 12MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 5MP (f/2.2) depth sensor. Up front, the phone will house a mighty 32MP (f/2.2) selfie snapper.
Samsung Galaxy A51: A premium mid-ranger
As an upgrade to the A50s, Samsung will launch the Galaxy A51 smartphone in India with a new design and better cameras. A recent leak has revealed that the phone will sport a punch-hole design featuring a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen with a full-HD+ resolution, and an integrated fingerprint scanner. Moreover, it is likely to offer an Exynos 9611 processor and a 4,000mAh battery.
The Galaxy A51 will offer impressive cameras as well
The smartphone is likely to offer a quad rear camera unit comprising a 48MP (f/1.8) main sensor, 12MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle sensor, 12MP telephoto lens, and another 5MP (f/2.2) depth sensor. For the selfie lovers, the handset is tipped to offer a 32MP (f/2.0) front-facing snapper.
And, here's what the Galaxy Note 10 Lite would offer
The South Korean tech giant will also add a low-cost Galaxy Note 10 Lite to its flagship Galaxy Note 10 series. The specifications and key details of the phone are not known as of now. However, several reports have suggested that it will bear model number SM-N770F. Moreover, much like the premium models, the handset is also likely to support the S Pen.
