Fujifilm Instax mini 11 camera launched at Rs. 5,000
As a follow-up to its 2017's portable, colorful Instax mini 9, Fujifilm has launched the Instax mini 11. The new version promises the same fun instant-photography experience while offering some notable improvements over the mini 9. The mini 11 is more compact, supports automatic exposure, and doesn't require a close-up lens attachment for taking selfies.
Instax mini 11: At a glance
The mini 11 retains the eye-catching design of the mini 9 while being much slimmer. Fujifilm has also offered two shutter button accessories for personalization and a strap for easily carrying the camera. Like the mini 9, it also comes with a variety of colors including Blush Pink, Ice White, Sky Blue, Lilac Purple, and Charcoal Black.
It now supports automatic exposure
The Instax mini 11 comes with an automatic exposure function that calculates surrounding brightness and adjusts shutter speed and flash accordingly. Hence, you no longer need to make dial adjustments to get the right settings.
There is also a new selfie mode
The mini 11 also comes with a dedicated selfie mode wherein you just need to pull out the lens to start taking selfies. This means, you don't need a separate close-up lens attachment for capturing selfies. You can also use the Selfie mode to shoot close-up shots in a range of around 30 to 50cm.
Pricing and availability
The Instax mini 11 is priced at $70 (around Rs. 5,000) and it will go on sale in mid-March. However, there is no word on its availability in India as of now.
