Thomson launches 3 Smart TVs: Price, Specifications and more
France-based electronics manufacturer Thomson has launched its range of smart televisions in India. The company has introduced three televisions in the country and they will be locally manufactured by Noida-based SPPL. These TVs go on sale exclusively via Flipkart starting April 13 and will compete against the budget TVs offered by Micromax, Vu, and Xiaomi in India. Here's more about Thompson's latest smart TVs.
Thompson 43-inch 4K UHD television
This model has been priced at Rs. 27,999 and features an LG IPS panel with a 3840*2160 pixels resolution with HDR support. Thompson says the TV offers a wide 178-degree viewing angle and sports two 10W speakers. Moreover, the TV is powered by a 1.4GHz dual-core Cortex-A53 processor paired with a Mali-T720 GPU, 1GB RAM, 8GB of inbuilt storage and runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
The 40-inch Full-HD Thomson smart TV
This model, priced at Rs. 19,990, features a Samsung LED-backlit panel with a 1920*1080 pixels resolution and a peak brightness of 450 nits. The TV is powered by a Cortex-A53 processor paired with a Mali T720MP2 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of inbuilt storage and runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. Moreover, this TV also offers a viewing angle of 178-degrees and sports two 10W speakers.
The 32-inch HD Thomson smart TV
This is the third model that Thompson has launched in India and is priced at Rs. 13,499. It features a Samsung LED-backlit panel with an HD (1366x768 pixels) resolution and a peak brightness of 450 nits. This model is powered by a Cortex-A53 processor paired with a Mali T720MP2 GPU, 1GB of RAM and runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
All TVs have 60Hz refresh rate and support Wi-Fi
All the TVs offer 60Hz refresh rate and support Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. In terms of connectivity, you get 1x RF input, 1x AV input, 3x HDMI ports, 1x Component port, 2x USB ports, 1x RJ45 port, 1x SPDIF port, headphone jack and SD card slot
