This guide will walk you through how to activate and personalize the Video Caller ID in Truecaller, adding a unique touch to your calls.
Initial setup
Setting up your video caller ID
To start using the In-App Video Caller ID feature, first make sure you have the Truecaller app installed on your phone.
Open Truecaller and tap on the three dots icon at the top right corner to access the settings menu.
Then, select "Settings" and then "Calls" to open call settings.
In this menu, you'll see an option called "Show your Video Caller ID." Enable this option by tapping on it.
Customization
Personalizing your caller ID
Once the feature is turned on, navigate to Manage Video Caller ID in the call settings.
Here, either record a fresh video or choose from Truecaller's templates for your caller ID.
You have to record videos in-app as gallery uploads are not allowed.
Make sure Truecaller has camera permissions to record and display your video caller ID.

Managing your video preferences
You can easily change your Video Caller ID by going to Manage Video Caller ID in call settings.
Record a new video or select a template to customize.
If you don't want to display your video caller ID anymore, you can turn it off in the Calls settings.
