Navigate to your profile for cover options
After launching the Facebook app on your Android device and making sure you're logged in, navigate to your profile by clicking the three horizontal lines located at the top right corner of the screen.
Here, click on your name or picture to view your profile page.
This is the place where you can change your cover photo.
Edit and choose
Selecting from suggested cover photos
Just tap on your existing cover photo on your profile page, and you'll see a bunch of options pop up, including "Edit Cover Photo."
Click on that, and you'll see options to upload a new photo or pick from your existing ones.
Choose "Cover Photo Suggestions" here. Facebook will analyze and suggest a few high-quality images from your uploads or related content that would make a great cover photo.

After selecting Cover Photo Suggestions, browse through Facebook's recommendations. These are generated based on your profile content and uploads, striving for relevancy.
Choose a fitting image, then adjust its position by dragging.
