Flipkart launches MarQ Turbostream Android TV stick for Rs. 3,500
Flipkart has launched an Android-based streaming stick under its private brand 'MarQ by Flipkart', venturing into a segment that has largely been dominated by Amazon's Fire Stick TV and Google's Chromecast. Dubbed as MarQ Turbostream, the device comes with the latest Android TV 9 OS, Dolby Digital Audio support, and a voice-controlled remote control. Here's all about it.

"With the Android operating system being so popular in the country, the user interface of our streaming device will be familiar and will help customers adapt to the new technology quickly," Adarsh Menon, SVP - Private Brands, Electronics and Furniture, Flipkart, said in a statement.
Here's everything to know about MarQ Turbostream device
In terms of looks, Flipkart's MarQ Turbostream features a slightly square-ish design with rounded corners, and can connect to any TV that has an HDMI port. It supports full-HD streaming (no 4K support) at 60 frames/second, 1GB RAM, 8GB ROM and connectivity support for 2.4GHz and 5GHz wireless bands. Further, the remote control has dedicated quick launch keys for YouTube, Netflix, and Google Assistant.
The device also brings support for Chromecast and Play Store
Since the Flipkart streaming device runs on Android TV OS, it also supports Chromecast which helps to cast content from your smartphone or other compatible devices straight to the TV. Moreover, the MarQ Turbostream also gives you access to the Google Play Store from where you can download apps and games for your television.
