For a smartphone to qualify as a YouTube Signature Device, it must support high dynamic range, 360-degree video support, high frame rate, reliable DRM performance, 4K decoding, and use advanced video codecs like VP9 profile 2 decoding which uses up to 30% less bandwidth.
