DJI introduces Mavic 2 Pro, Mavic 2 Zoom portable drones
China-based DJI has launched Mavic 2 Pro and Mavic 2 Zoom - its latest and most advanced portable drones yet. Priced at Rs. 1lakh, the Mavic 2 Pro comes with a premium Hasselblad camera with support for 10-bit HDR video capture. The Mavic 2 Zoom is priced at 87,600 and is touted to be the first portable drone to feature optical zoom. Here's more.
DJI Mavic 2 Pro: At a glance
The DJI Mavic 2 Pro features a high-end Hasselblad L1D-20c camera that has a 20-megapixel 1-inch CMOS sensor along with a variable aperture ranging from f/2.8 to f/11. Apart from the hardware upgrade, the second-generation flagship portable drone also gets top-class software support, including 10-bit HDR video recording and 10-bit Dlog-M color profile.
What's new in the Mavic 2 Zoom?
The Mavic 2 Zoom packs a 12-megapixel 1/2.3-inch sensor with up to four times zoom, including 2x optical zoom (24-48mm). The drone also comes with hybrid autofocus, 4x lossless full-HD video recording and a Dolly Zoom feature that automatically adjusts focus while flying. Moreover, Mavic 2 Zoom also offers 48-megapixel super-resolution photos by stitching nine photos together (in 24mm wide angle view).
Both the drones offer around 30 minutes of flight time
Both dthe rones offer a flight time of upto 31 minutes on a single charge and can attain a maximum speed of 72kph in Sport mode. Further, these drones come with omnidirectional obstacle sensing, low-noise flight technology, and a 3-axis gimbal that offers stable footage. Moreover, they come with Hyperlapse, Hyperlight (low-light photography), ActiveTrack 2.0 (for automatically following subjects) and four panorama modes.

Both the Mavic 2 Pro and Zoom are now available on the DJI US web-store. In the box, you get the aircraft, battery, remote controller, charger, four propellers, gimbal protector and connectivity cables.
