Dell Latitude 7400 2-in-1 laptop launched at Rs. 1.35 lakh
As the latest addition to its portfolio of Latitude series laptops, Dell has launched the all new Latitude 7400 in India. The 2-in-1 hybrid laptop comes with a full-HD display, Intel Core i7 Processor, up to 16GB of RAM, 512GB of internal storage and LTE support. In India, it is priced at Rs. 1,35,000. Debuted in CES 2019, the Dell Latitude 7400 2-in-1 can be used in a variety of modes such as regular laptop mode, tablet mode, and tent mode depending upon user's preference. Further, the laptop features an aluminum body with diamond cut edges and comes with a 14-inch LED touchscreen display with 1920 x 1080 resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, and weighs 1.35kg.
It is touted to use world's first PC proximity sensor
The Dell Latitude 7400 2-in-1 laptop uses PC proximity sensor which detects user's presence and automatically wakes up when the user is around the laptop. When the user steps away, the same sensor nudges the laptop to lock itself to ensure security.
Under the hood
The Dell Latitude 7400 2-in-1 is powered by the 8th-generation Intel Core i7 processor, coupled with Intel UHD Graphics 720, upto 16GB RAM, and 512GB of onboard storage. Further, the notebook offers two battery options: a 4-cell 52WHr and a 6-cell 78WHr battery that is touted to last for up to 24 hours. Lastly, it runs on Windows 10 OS.
Connectivity options, audio and other features
In terms of connectivity, the Dell Latitude 7400 2-in-1 comes with LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, two USB 3.1 ports, two Thunderbolt 3 ports, and an HDMI port. Talking about media options, the notebook offers stereo speakers and comes with a web camera which is capable of recording 720p HD videos.
Finally, what will be the pocket pinch?
As far as the pricing is concerned, the Dell Latitude 7400 2-in-1 will come at a starting price of Rs. 1.35 lakh in India. However, there is no official word about its availability in the country at the moment.
