Coolpad Note 6 with dual-selfie cameras launched for Rs. 8,999
Coolpad has launched its Note 6 smartphone at Rs. 8,999 for the 32GB storage variant and Rs. 9,999 for the 64GB storage variant. The major aspect of the device is its dual front camera setup. According to the company, India is the first country where the smartphone has been launched. Notably, this is Coolpad's first ever camera-centric smartphone.
This is also Coolpad's first offline-exclusive smartphone
The Coolpad Note 6 is offline-exclusive. It will start selling from May 1 in over 300 multi-brand retail stores across the eight states of Delhi NCR, Haryana, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Maharashtra.
Coolpad Note 6 features 5.5-inch display, massive 4,070mAh battery
The dual-SIM Coolpad Note 6 features a 5.5-inch full-HD display, 4GB of RAM, and a massive 4,070mAh battery that can deliver 350 hours of standby time on a single charge. It is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor and runs the Android 7.1 Nougat operating system (OS). Available in Gold color, its onboard storage is expandable up to 128GB.
Phone's USP is its dual selfie cameras with wide-angle lens
The Coolpad Note 6 features a dual front camera setup with 8MP and 5MP sensors and a 120-degree, wide-angle lens. On the back, it has a 13MP camera. The camera comes with an Erase mode that can remove all moving objects while clicking a picture.
Game Dock, Scroll Screenshot mode, front-facing fingerprint scanner
The smartphone comes with an accelerometer, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, and a front-facing fingerprint scanner below the display. Its Game Dock makes the phone go into the Do-Not-Disturb mode and mutes all notifications for a focused gaming experience. It also offers a Scroll Screenshot mode. The phone's connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/A-GPS, and a Micro-USB port.
Coolpad to make strong offline presence in India by year-end
Syed Tajuddin, CEO, Coolpad India, said, "We are also planning to introduce few more aggressive offline devices in next 2-3 months, in order to make an expansion in the offline market through our retail partners and multi-brand outlets."
